I worked with David during my time at Chain Reaction Cycles on the Email Marketing team. While working with David, what truly stood out about him was his constant curiosity and drive to experiment with new ideas. I have known David Shawe for around 9 years and we first met when volunteering at Coder Dojo in Farset Labs Belfast. This was my first time volunteering at Coder Dojo and I think Davids also. We hit it off straight away with similar experience in Web Design and Web Development. It was a lot of fun working with David and mentoring the kids, due to his hard work, experience, initiative, and design flair he created an online website for the students to learn how to develop their own websites. I moved roles to Chain Reaction Cycles and after a few weeks we were on the lookout for someone with UX design and development experience and I knew David would be the perfect fit. Working seamlessly within a larger design team, actively bringing new ideas, and working hard to implement these ideas with team members. David has been a pleasure to work with and know, becoming a good friend over the years.

Werewolf Food
Werewolf Food genuinely values our customers and as such we wanted to create helpful FAQ videos. Not just a generic style but bespoke to us. David Shawe took our mock ups and turned them into useful ‘how-to’ videos, demonstrating to the customer how simple it was for them to make changes to their account, e.g., change the frequency of their delivery or update card payment details. The format was suitable for both web and social media content. Invisible Building made the technical solution of the FAQ videos fit the personality of the business.

He also undertook a design review of the customer experience in my new website. In particular, David understood what I was trying to communicate in my website which is always a positive thing before we had even met face to face.
