Feeling good about business, work-life balance and vibe.
Deep into January, I’m feeling good about business, work-life balance and the overall vibe. I want to take a moment to share some cool things I did last year with Invisible Building. For anyone new here: I’m a solo entrepreneur running a business in Northern Ireland that focuses on design, e-commerce, and tech for good. Great design is invisible and we build it.
I won’t lie like — there were a few times last year when I looked at the numbers and asked myself... What am I doing? Should I shut up shop? Should I go work a steady 9 to 5. But in the end, though, I stuck with it and kept moving forward and I'm glad I did. But 2025 is already looking ten times better than 2024 and we're only 16 days into it.
One of my goals from last year was to expand beyond my small corner of the island into into the UK. I’m thrilled to say I made valuable connections in England, landing new clients in Manchester, London and Cambridge. (If you're reading this and you're one of those 3. Thank you for the mutual support and trust in working with a Northern Irish business).
Three clients to some might not seem like much. But to me it's pretty huge. I love that I'm able to push forward in my mission. Hitting micro targets to add to the macrodata refinements.

Last year I also joined the Go Succeed NI programme and got to work with Christopher McGuicken and a few others to set some goals for success. Being part of that programme is a big part of me having the ambition to work outside of NI and in 2025 I've set goals to keep working inside the UK but also outside of it. In EU/Ireland, and the USA.
If this was a YouTube channel I'd now say smash the like and subscribe button to follow along this journey. Over and out.
