I’m David and I’m a designer from Belfast, Northern Ireland
I’m using this website to blog, share work and maybe sell some stuff online. I have over ten years of experience in design and I run a web design company called Invisible Building. I have also spent 3 and a half years working in email marketing for one of Northern Irelands largest ever export technology. Outside of marketing and strategy I love to design, research and build MVPs for Startups and Tech for good projects.

Turning ideas into product
I thrive on new thinking and transforming cool ideas into digital prototypes that can be tested and developed into real product. Outside of web design and tech for good projects. Designing prototypes is one of my favourite services to provide at Invisible Building.
Freelancing in Northern Ireland
I've collaborated with Northern Irish design agencies for several years as a freelancer and digital craftsman. Working on lots of different projects and bringing versatility and innovation to each of them. My largest freelance job was working for Chain Reaction Cycles. CRC are the leading e-commerce giant in online bike sales. After 6 months of freelancing with them I took on a full time job that gave me a specialism in email marketing, developing campaigns, CRM and driving sales at scale.
Currently in 2024
I spend most of my hours working from my home office (needs painted). But you can also find me in Belfast city centre hot-desking or working from a cafe. Also check out my latest vlogs below.
